Sony has launched new model 11 inch laptop in the Y series. The 11.6-inch laptop weighs in at 3.2 pounds and comes prepared with new visualization AMD processors. It includes 2GB of memory and a 320GB hard drive with lowest-end configuration and prices start at 550 dollars. Most of the laptops this size, there is no integrated optical drive.
Sony also launched its new model laptops in S Series of 13.3-inch laptop weigh in at 4.4 pounds and are an inch thick.
Most of the models in the S Series will contain a backlit keyboard. It also includes with the built-in Intel Wireless Display, WiDi technology for a wirelessly streaming content to an HDTV and prices start at 900 dollars.
Both of the S and Y Series laptops have LED backlit and widescreen displays.
