Pentax introduced two new rugged models

Pentax just introduced two new rugged models:
  • Optio WG-1 ($350) 
  • Optio WG-1 GPS ($400) 
As its name implies, the later model includes a GPS mode that let you geotag your photos. Both of the models characteristic a unique, "outdoorsy" camera-body design.

Pentax is one of the most important to provide the quality camera and these companies to produce a rugged or waterproof camera, a lot producing waterproof models with unique features, such as the Optio W90.

Each of the camera models is 14 megapixels and it has a 5x non-telescoping zoom lens and 2.7-inch LCD, is said to be waterproof to a depth of 33 feet, and should withstand a 5-foot drop.
